Hillsides
I took this photo in Hulne Park. I took it because I really like the stone walls that curve all over the pastures to seperate the animals instead of fences like I am used to seeing. I included this in my blog to represent landscape and also to document my days spent on the trails of Hulne Park.
Remains of an Abbey
I took this picture in York. It is a picture of the remains of an old abbey. I took this photo because I thought the structure standing by itself was really neat and I like the shadows and sunlight portrayed on the structure. I included this in my blog to portray architecture and to document one the the sites we saw in York on our field trip.
Music in Town Square
I took this photo as the first thing I saw as we entered the town square here in Alnwick. I thought the iron bench was really neat and I loved its artistic structure. I wanted to include this in my blog to represent still life/object and also because music is one of my passions and I just thought this bench was so cool.
Feels Like Home
I took this photo as the snow was falling in Alnwick for the first time since we've been here. I wanted to include this in my blog to portray people and I thought the old couple hurrying to get out of the weather was cute. The light snow made me think of home and how lucky we are to have this weather instead of the negative temperatures.
Pigeons in the Park
I took this photo while walking through a park in York. I thought it was funny how everyone was running up to the pigeons to get a picture of nature/wildlife and all the birds started skurrying like crazy. I included this in my blog to represent nature and I liked the different lighting throughout the photo.
