The Duke's Pasture

I took this photo of the Duke's pasture across the river from Alnwick Castle. Besides the puddles and dirt piles, the hilly pastures lined with sheep are a pretty sight to see. I took this picture to portray landscape and also to remember the great view we get to see everyday here.

Durham Cathedral

I took this photo of the Durham Cathedral on our field trip to Durham. I thought the architecture of the Cathedral was gorgeous. I wanted to take this picture to portray the fact that the Cathedral was built up on a peninsula, as one can from the level of the home in this picture.

Rustic Pots

I took this photo in the Alnwick Castle Gardens. I took this photo to portray a still life object and I liked how the pots fade into the background looking smaller at the top of the picture. I also thought the pots on the different levels was a neat effect.

Shrove Tuesday

I took this photo at the football game played here in Alnwick in the Duke's pasture. Everyone playing was wet and dirty and looked like they were having such a fun time. I wanted to take this photo to portray people and also to remember the Shrove football game.

Have You Any Wool?

I took this photo in the Duke's pasture while attending the football game on Shrove Tuesday. I wanted to take this photo to portray the different types of wildlife I see while here in England.

A Pink and Blue Dusk

I took this photo at dusk here in Alnwick. I loved the colors of the sky with the dark trees showing that it was almost dark outside. Different pictures of various skies is one of my favorite things to photograph.

Reflections

I took this photo while sitting at a table at the Alnwick Castle Gardens. I wanted to take it as an abstract shot because I liked the reflections, the different lighting, and the angles of the lines. It made for a photo portraying a lot of depth.
